A Life in Transition

Last night, in the first version of this post, I wrote: “While I’m not sure if I’m going to keep this blog as my new one–I’ve had it for awhile, but haven’t posted on it in a few years–it will be my interim blog until I decide. So, don’t change your blogrolls yet…we’ll wait and see how this plays out.

And in the meantime, if I decide to post about bipolarity and related subjects, I’ll still post on Wellness Writer.

“But, my new writing won’t be about illness or wellness because that’s where I’ve been, not where I’m going. It’s about the life I’m living now. There are so many things I love to do that I haven’t written about. There are so many books I read that I haven’t written about.”

There was more, but this morning when I awakened, I had a brand new idea. This blog can be about a year of transition. Fact is, next year I’m turning 60, and it is definitely time to change my life.

So…while I don’t know the particulars, this blog will probably chronicle my life in transition from April 6, 2009 to April 6, 2010. That is…unless I awaken tomorrow with a new idea!

  1. Susan,
This is refreshing thinking and I will look forward to reading some of your new thoughts and reflections as you approach 60. I just turned 59 last week, so we are in the same boat! Thinking about and talking about things and ideas and activities that give us pleasure, what could be more therapeutic? Have fun!

  2. Actually, we’re just the same age. I’m turning 59 on April 6th. It will be fun to see what this year brings.
